• What is the best way to get our questions answered?

If you are inquiring about possible dates or other specific questions please send us an email info@wendegolodge.com or call us at 250-819-1713 (If possible, please call after 6 pm, or on weekends). If you send an email, please include your phone number. We would be happy to talk to you. 

• How long does it take to get to Wendego Lodge from Kamloops?

Approximately one hour and thrity minutes. The last 5 miles are somewhat slow.

• Can we drive to Wendego in a car or do we need a 4x4?

You can bring your car if it not too low to the ground. The road does not require a truck.

• Can we bring our pets?

Sorry, we cannot allow pets at the resort.

• How hard is it to cross the border into Canada?

The border is requiring you to have 2 pieces of Identification.  One has to be picture ID and one has to be a birth certificate. Passports will not be required until June of 2009.

• Can we get fishing licenses at the lodge and if so how much do they cost?

Yes, we sell them at the lodge.  For 2006, an eight day license was $53.00 in Canadian funds for U.S. citizens,  $21.20 for B.C. residents, and  $38.16 for a Canadian resident from outside B.C.

• How many people do the cabins sleep?

The cabins will sleep up to 6 people.

• Is the Family Plan Special rate for one person or a group or family of 6 people?

The rate is for the group or family (not per person) .
